At Tricode Studio (“we,” “our,” or “us”), your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile applications, including but not limited to:

  • Quick Switch : Smart Share (the "Data Transfer App"), on Android (Google Play) and iPhone (App Store)
  • Dream Up - AI Art Generator (the "AI Art App")

This policy also applies to any other apps or services provided by Tricode Studio that link to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you contact us, submit feedback, or subscribe to services, we may collect your name, email address, or contact details.
  • In-App Purchases & Subscriptions: We do not collect any payment details. All purchases and subscriptions are processed securely via Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system, device ID, language preference, IP address.
  • Usage Data: Features accessed, interaction time, crash logs, and error reports.
  • Ad Interaction Data: Information related to ad impressions, clicks, or engagement.
  • Analytics, Performance and Crash Reports: We use Google Firebase: Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics in all our apps, plus Firebase Performance Monitoring in our Android apps and Firebase Remote Config in the Android Data Transfer App. In the Data Transfer App these record app events such as whether a connection or transfer worked, how the phones connected, how many files and how many megabytes were moved, and how long it took; your phone's model and system version; your country, which the Android app reads on your phone from your mobile network, SIM card or language setting; how you found the app (for example, a Google Play ad campaign); how quickly and reliably the app runs; and crash reports. Remote Config downloads the app's settings, such as which ads are switched on. None of this includes the names or contents of your files, photos, music or contacts.

1.3 Files and Data You Transfer (Data Transfer App)

The photos, videos, music, documents, contacts and other data you choose to send go directly from one of your phones to the other over a local Wi-Fi connection: your own Wi-Fi network, or a Wi-Fi network created by the other phone for the transfer. They never pass through our servers, and we cannot see them. We do not keep copies, and we never use your photos, contacts or files to build a database, for advertising, or for analytics.

1.4 Device Permissions (Data Transfer App)

The app asks only for the permissions a transfer needs, and uses each one only on your phone, for that purpose:

  • Camera: to scan the QR code shown on the other phone. Camera images are not saved or sent anywhere.
  • Photos, media and files: to show you the photos, videos, music and documents on your phone so you can choose what to send, to read the items you choose, and to save the items you receive. If you allow All files access on Android, the app uses it to find documents in every folder and to save received files in the same folders they had on the sending phone. This list stays on your phone: only the items you choose are sent, and only to your other phone.
  • Contacts: to read the contacts you choose to send, and to add the contacts you receive.
  • Music (iPhone): to send songs stored on your iPhone that you choose. Apple Music and iTunes Store songs are not sent.
  • Local network, Wi-Fi and nearby devices: to find the other phone and connect to it. On iPhone, the app can join the network the Android phone creates for the transfer, using the network name and password from its QR code, and leaves it when the transfer ends.
  • Location and Bluetooth (Android): Android requires these to discover nearby devices and Wi-Fi networks. The app does not record or send your location.
  • Notifications (Android): to show a transfer's progress while it runs.

1.5 AI-Specific Data (For AI App)

  • Prompt Texts / Input Data: When you generate AI images, your input prompts and related metadata (e.g., image generation parameters) may be temporarily processed on our or our AI partners’ servers for the sole purpose of generating your requested content.
  • Generated Content: We do not store user-generated images permanently. Content is typically deleted from our servers within 24–72 hours, unless stated otherwise in the app.

1.6 Cookies & Similar Technologies (For Website Visitors Only)

If you visit our websites, we may collect data through cookies and similar tracking technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Provide and improve app functionality and services.
  • Process subscriptions and purchases via app stores.
  • Serve relevant personalized or non-personalized ads.
  • Generate AI content based on your requests (AI App only).
  • Monitor and improve app stability, performance, and user experience.
  • Conduct internal analytics, product research, and app feature enhancements.
  • Respond to user inquiries and support tickets.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Advertising & Monetization

We display ads in our apps through Google AdMob. In our Android apps, AdMob may fill some ads from its partner networks Unity Ads, Liftoff (formerly Vungle) and the Yandex Advertising Network (whose SDK includes Yandex AppMetrica analytics); in the iPhone app, ads come from Google AdMob only.

3.1 Types of Ads Shown:

  • Banner Ads
  • Interstitial Ads
  • App Open Ads
  • Rewarded Video Ads
  • Native Ads

Ad networks may collect device information, usage behavior, and limited demographic data for ad targeting. On Android, Google's ads SDK may also use Android's privacy-preserving ad APIs (Privacy Sandbox: ad topics and ad measurement), which you can manage in your phone's ad privacy settings.

Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): If you are in one of these regions, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before showing ads. On Android and iPhone, you can change your choice at any time: tap the privacy icon on the app's home screen, then Privacy choices. You can also email us to withdraw it.

iPhone and the advertising identifier (IDFA): Google AdMob can use your iPhone's advertising identifier to personalize ads only if you allow the app to track you when iOS asks. Unless you allow it, iOS gives the app and Google an identifier of all zeros, so neither can track you with it. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Ad networks still receive the information described in section 1.2, such as your device type, your approximate location from your IP address and your ad interactions, to show and measure ads.

Opt-Out: You can manage or limit ad personalization by adjusting your device settings:

  • On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
  • On iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Our apps offer in-app purchases (IAPs) and subscription plans for premium features.

  • All transactions are processed securely by Google Play or Apple App Store.
  • We do not collect or store your payment card details.
  • Subscription management, cancellations, or refund requests should be handled directly via your app store account settings.

5. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We DO NOT sell your personal information. However, we may share data with:

  • Third-party ad networks (for ads).
  • Analytics providers (Google Firebase and Google Analytics).
  • AI service providers (only for AI App prompt processing).
  • App Store providers (Google / Apple) for payment-related activities.
  • Legal authorities, if required by law.

Third parties we share data with, such as Google (AdMob, Firebase and Google Analytics), Unity Ads, Liftoff and Yandex, process it under their own privacy terms, which provide the same or equal protection of your data as this policy. Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses data from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Unity's policy: unity.com/legal/privacy-policy. Liftoff's policy: liftoff.ai/privacy-policy. Yandex's policy: yandex.com/legal/confidential.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.

For the Data Transfer App: the files and contacts you transfer are never stored by us (see 1.3). Analytics events are kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics, and a copy of the raw app events that we use for our own analysis is kept in Google BigQuery for 60 days. Crash reports are kept for the period Firebase Crashlytics applies. After these periods the data is deleted. Uninstalling the app stops all collection.

For AI-generated content: Temporary storage only. Your input prompts and generated images are not permanently stored, unless otherwise specified.

7. Security

We implement commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect your data. However, please be aware that no system is completely secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
  • Opt-out of personalized advertising.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing (where applicable).

To withdraw consent for ads in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, use Privacy choices in the app (Android or iPhone) or email us. To request access to or deletion of data collected about you, email us at: support@tricodestudio.com. Analytics and crash data are not tied to your name, so we may ask for details that help us find it.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our apps are not directed towards children under 13 (or the age defined in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us to delete the information.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have data protection rules different from your country.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

Our apps may contain links to external websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party sites. Please review their privacy policies separately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app or on our website. Please review it regularly.
